Residential Community

The Residential Community is a major component of MDA, which will offer all amenities needed to deliver an ideal environment for residents and visitors alike in an area of 1 km². And is capable of housing up to 15,000 residents in villas, semi villas, high and standard apartments and a student dormitory

Industrial Park

The Industrial Park is the largest of the four MDA clusters. It spreads across 7.5 km² and is already fully functional and equipped with a complete infrastructure. The Industrial Park will allow the current industries within the Park’s area that serve the region with their production of ceramics, plastics, and electrical appliances, to increase their capacity output and expand their market share, while addressing the growing regional and domestic demand for construction material, as a result of the real estate boom.

Hajj Oasis

Ma’an Development Area (MDA) will be home to The Hajj Oasis, a 200,000 m² area servicing pilgrims on their way to the Holy Cities of Mecca and Medina. Hajj Oasis will provide pilgrims with various facilities, including: Tents and a Hotel, sufficient parking areas, Grand Mosque, Restaurants, Hajj and Umrah boutiques and other essential services specifically designed to offer visitors a spiritual and calming experience.

Skill Development Center

The Skill Development Center will span an area of 50,000 m², accommodating for 3000 students, and will include vocational training services and dormitory facilities for students. The Skill Development Center is Set to become a regional center of excellence, thanks to its international standards and association with the Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (AHU).

Solar Energy

The solar energy project “Shams Ma’an”is considered is one of the largest privately developed and owned PV plants in the region, and the largest in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and will produce a 52.5 MW photovoltaic power plant (PVPP). The project is carried out on phases starting with the evaluation phase that determined the most appropriate technology for the designated area followed by the pilot phase, the construction phase and finally the production phase by Sep of 2016.
