Southern Jordan is part of the Kingdom’s heartland, where its people embrace tradition and the Jordanian way of life. Southern Jordan is also profoundly entrenched in His Majesty’s vision of a more prosperous Jordan and of equal social and economic opportunities for all of the country’s citizens. At the center of this heartland lies Ma’an, a vibrant city with a wealth of human resources and a proud population that has been through the years the flag bearer of the Hashemite ideals and Jordan’s system of values.

Rich in natural resources, from solar to mineral, Ma’an today is a treasure yet to be unearthed. Its deep-rooted history along with its strategic location at the heart of the Middle East, at a crossroads between the Saudi Arabian, Syrian, and Iraqi markets, and on the road to the Hajj and Umrah, render it an enticing area for investors, developers and visitors alike.

Ma’an is part of a country rich in opportunities that has succeeded in establishing itself as an investment destination of choice, due to its strategic location, its stable and secure political environment, and its various free trade agreements with the United States and numerous other trade partners.
